Privacy Policy

1. No account, no sign-up

Dhayam 1 does not ask you to create an account, sign in, or provide your name, email, or phone number to play — offline against the computer, in local pass-and-play, or online with friends.

2. What the app stores on your device

• Game settings — board skin, sound, haptics, and rules preferences.
• Your win/loss statistics and streaks, kept locally on your device.
• The in-progress game you're currently playing, so it can resume if you close the app.
• A randomly generated, anonymous device identifier (not your name, email, or any personal information) used only to tell your device apart from an opponent's inside a shared online game.

None of this data is linked to your identity, and none of it leaves your device except as described in Section 3 for online play.

3. Online play (Play with Friends)

If you choose "Play Online," the app creates a room identified by a short room code and sends the game's live state — token positions, dice rolls, and turn order — to our backend (Supabase) so it can be shared in real time with whoever you send that room code or link to. Anyone with a valid room code can read and write that room's game state; this is an intentional trade-off for a simple, no-signup way to play with friends, not a public matchmaking or chat feature. There is no in-game chat and no way to enter free text other than a room code.

Rooms that are abandoned or finished are automatically deleted from our backend after a short retention period (as little as 24 hours for unused or finished rooms, up to 3 days for a paused-but-active game).

4. Sound and haptics

Dhayam 1 plays sound effects and, on supported devices, uses haptic feedback for dice rolls and moves. These run entirely on-device and do not involve your microphone, camera, or any recording — Dhayam 1 does not record or transmit audio.

5. No ads, no analytics, no tracking

Dhayam 1 contains no advertising SDKs, no third-party analytics or crash-reporting tools, and does not track you across other apps or websites.

6. Third-party service providers

Online play is powered by Supabase, which stores the shared game-room data described in Section 3 on our behalf. We do not share data with any other third party.

7. Children's privacy

Dhayam 1 does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. The app has no account creation, no user profiles, and no way to enter personal information.

8. Your choices

• Deleting the app removes all locally stored settings, stats, and the saved game/room reference from your device.
• Leaving a room ("Leave Room" after a game ends) removes that room's data from our backend immediately.
• You can contact us at any time to request deletion of a specific online room's data.

9. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the effective date above and, for material changes, note them here.
